#WoohooHouston | #WoohooTheWoodlands
It all started in March when I bought a deal(tickets) from LivingSocial for BigTimeRush, it seemed like forever to get here. The concert was for Friday 07/13/2012 at 7PM. It's funny though because my son adores the guys so much, he is a huge fan. But lately as we watch their show together my husband and I have started liking them/their show too. They are great guys who are also considered to me as great role models. I guess I can consider myself a MOMRUSHER. Their music is also very catchy! Us three enjoy it. We had already met them in 10/14/2010 when they came to a signing for their self debut album at Walmart. Here is the video that we took, sorry for the bad quality - I am the girl in the pink shirt carrying my son Ray.
But I wanted my son to have a second chance to meet them again. I didn't I could meet them or was even able to go (the concert) because all week it had been raining, even the day of (the concert). Anyhow I told my son the night before, Ray you are going to have a great time - I wanted him to have a great time and wasn't sure how long it would be for him to see them again in concert. Plus with his condition of Kidney Failure (Chronic Kidney Disease) I wanted him to have a great experience and not worry about his health for a bit.
That morning I got up early and was on Twitter when HOT957 tweeted as follows: Meet us at the NORTHSIDE of the CWP @2:30P for your chance to meet @bigtimerush @OMGItsHOTSummer, I then told my husband let's go! It was about 12:30P when we left our home. I remember telling my son we on a mission, we are meeting them. So we get there about 1:40P and there was already a few people there. We waited about 30 minutes when the van of @TheHOTCrew arrived and at the same time my husband and son were getting something to eat. So as a few other girls and I asked them if they had passes to meet them they had said no at first, kind of not what we wanted to hear but soon enough they changed their mind and started asking if we wanted to meet them but everyone needed a guest. I called my husband and rushed him to back because I/my son were going to meet BigTimeRush Woohoo, that's how it all began.
First they took Ray and I on a mini concert and a Q&A then they sang #MusicSoundsBetterWithYou and #Boyfriend. Once again they seemed to be enjoying the love of their fans and were excited as well. Once that was done Logan Henderson said who is ready for picture time, so off we went to meet the boys. My sons favorite is Carlos Pena which was carried by him and they were messing with us. First Carlos said to my son "Hey Buddy how are you?" "What's your name?" and "How old are you?" Carlos said his name was Rain and my son said no it's Ray (correcting him) then Ray said 5 years old and both Carlos and James said oh buddy you are 45?! In a messing around kind of way, so I said no he is 5 years old then we all started laughing. It happened so quick but we got to hug them and take a few pictures, great memories and the guys were so kind and fun to be around. Here are the pictures of our meet/greet:
After all that we were ready for the show. We had lawn seats but got upgraded to actually being closer because the lawn was still wet from it raining the whole week. So with all that it was an overall great show! Lot's of fans including myself. Great performance, great songs and much more. Overall one of the best concerts that I have been to. Also making it a great experience for my son (he has no idea how lucky he is) and husband. First time we've had a great Friday the 13th.
Message for the boys:
Hoping the best to them, they deserve all the best in their music career as in their own life! Best wishes boys. Thank you for all your hard work that you do for us! Much love - Hugs and kisses!
Also a big thanks to this intern from @TheHOTCrew she was the one who made this meet/greet possible!
