As for now everyone has found out the great news, RAY HAS A KIDNEY!! He received a transplant on June 16, 2013 at 11A. Everything happened so fast after we GOT THE CALL. It has been what we were waiting for, almost 2 1/2 yrs of being on Peritoneal Dialysis. He has become my warrior, always giving his all to overcome anything. I can't stop thanking God for sending us this amazing gift. Now he doesn't have to be connected to his Dialysis machine at night, no more diet(he has been eating well now) no more shots. It is both great for me and my hubby and also for Ray. A little more freedom.
As for his health he is doing very well but is having a tough time fully recovering because he received a big time (huge)kidney. We don't know who the donor is the only info is it came from Dallas. I just want to whisper a huge thank you to this amazing angel in heaven. But all of his labs are good, Ray is on his way to a great recovery.
We would like to ask for a small donation for our son, Daniel has only worked a few days and we need to pay for parking and several other items. I would never ask for help but at this time we really need it. We have to return to Ray's doctor appointments like three times a week and we need help with paying for parking, gas and meals for me while I am still in the hospital with Ray. Day of discharge is unknown at this time. Please friends help out with anything, everything is appreciated.
Here are a few pics of Ray in his journey in receiving his Kidney(he named it Turbo).
