So many things to talk about! First off, all is well with Ray, he has now started Pre-K and is on the road to possibly getting a kidney soon because he is being evaluated to become active on the Kidney Donor Transplant list. We have a round of a fulls day of appointments tomorrow 8/31. Man, Ray has come a long ways - it was a year ago today that he was being prepped to go into surgery for his Peritoneal Dialysis catheter placement and he is now been doing his @home treatments since then. So proud and blessed to be able to do this for my son. It is very stressful and hard to be the one on the other end doing my part, but it is definitely worth everything. It makes me very emotional and happy when I see him smile, playing around, saying mommy "I LOVE YOU" that is when you know that it doesn't matter as long as he is healthy. Now that he is at school I have a little more time to blog about his condition. So far all is great, thank god for his continued blessings.
His doctor also changed his bag solution to 2.5% 3Liter & 1.5% 3Liter all Low Calcium Solution bags.
Next up we wait for his many test results. Until then thanks guys for keeping up with Ray's condition.
