Yesterday we went in for Ray's monthly Renal appointment @ Texas Children's Hospital. His doc said all is going well with Ray. Since our last post a lot has happened. First off he will be turning 5 yrs old in less than a month...so excited and blessed. He is now active on the National Kidney Transplant List. *Fingers Crossed *(hoping that soon we will get the call). We still do his monthly appointments to keep track of his Lab Values: Phosphorous, Calcium, Potassium, Hemoglobin, IPTH(Intact Parathyroid Hormone) plus his weight, height, blood pressure and temperature. Most of our appointments range from 1hr - 3hrs. I can definitely say that it is all worth it. Thank god for his doctor, Dr. Srivaths and his staff at The Renal Department @ Texas Children's Hospital. Thank you gals for keeping my son healthy.
Ray is still in school and has learned so much - he loves it! He has several friends when I pick him up all I hear is "Bye Ray" not to mention his teacher adores him.
Next month for his birthday I have a huge surprise for him his daddy and I are going to take him to see Big Time Rush at the Houston Rodeo. March 4th. He is a huge fan of the guys. They are such wonderful guys, we've met them before. Ray likes to watch their show on Nickelodean he dances and sings all of their songs. He has even made both of us (mommy and daddy) a fan of the guys. He doesn't know so shhh, keep your mouth shut!
Well guys thanks for checking in, until next time! Thanks for your continued support.
