This week we had 2 appointments with Dr. Srivaths(Renal) on Tuesday 9/21/2010 and with Dr. Cisek(Urology) on Wednesday 9/22/2010. So far everything is going fine with his catheter. He had a flush and a gauze change. Then had the usual blood work which we found out he had a critical lab - his phosphate levels and potassium levels were high. They prescribed him another medication which lowers his level. We went again today 9/22/2010 for lab work and found that he levels were back to normal - thank god. It just takes a little tweaking with his rx's and everything is fine. In Urology we went in for a transplant evaluation, but he hasn't started dialysis so they couldn't do anything until then. Everything is fine and Ray is doing good our only main concern is his medication intake he is on several meds:

Sodium Chloride

Epogen

01/07/13 updated - Bioglan Kids Smart Fish Oil

Flinstones Vitamins-Complete

Growth Hormone

Cytra 2 Solution

Ferrous Sulfate

Miralax

Dulcolax

Vitamin D

We have to mask some of the flavors with juice or his Suplena milk and it helps. Thanks to everyone who has kept up with our son Ray's condition, donations and help out with his daily needs - greatly appreciate it
